Cuba is a unique place, and I love its rich photographic environment. The island is amazing, full of generous, friendly people; great food and drinks; Old Havana’s beautiful architecture; Viñales’ limestone cliffs; tobacco farms and horse-drawn carts; old cars; and the music and dancing. Yes, Cuba is a vibrant, special place to be, especially for the photographer.
These all-inclusive workshops will be special. We will ride in vintage cars through Old Havana, and we’ll see how cigars are made, but we’ll also meet with Cuban artists — including a dinner with local photographers. We’ll stay in a gorgeous private residence in Old Havana, as well as a hotel with spectacular dawn and sunset views in the limestone-rich agricultural valley of Viñales. We’ll photograph salsa dancing and have a lesson ourselves. This trip is not just a photo workshop; it will also be a cultural exchange, and you’re going to be amazed at how special the experience truly is.
