June 4th Arrive in Costa Rica (Travel Day)
Arrive in San Jose. Transport will meet you.
Check into provided hotel for one night stay before flying to Crocodile Bay.
June 5th: Fly to Crocodile Bay
Meet & Greet + Guided Resort Property Tour.
Course: Costa Rica as a Location, Weather Check and Orientation.
Course: Photographing Wildlife, Camera Settings and Technique.

June 6th: Matapalo Rainforest
Photograph the monkeys, sloths, birds, waterfalls and spectacular beaches of Matapalo in the southern part of Corcovado National Park.
Return to Crocodile Bay for Q&A, editing, and image reviews.
June 7th: La Tarde
This region, deep in the primary forest of Corcovado National Park, is famous for its birds and reptiles. We’ll practice our macro techniques and photograph tiny colorful frogs. We’ll also have ample opportunities to photograph snake and other subjects.

June 8th: Crocodile Bay
We’ll focus on photographing around our beautiful resort location with a bit more laid back pace. It’s a chance to get some class time, clean gear, organize, edit and review images and rest up a little.

June 9th: Osa Interactive Gardens
At these gardens in Puerto Jimenez we’ll photograph a diversity of wildlife and botanical gardens from treehouse platforms and jungle trails as well as work to hone our macro skills photographing a diverse array of tropical butterflies.
Drive through Matapalo a 2nd time to have a 2nd foray photographing it’s monkeys, sloths and birds.

June 10th: Sierpe River Boat Cruise
After a scenic drive, we’ll travel by pontoon boat along the Sierpe river photographing birds, snakes, primates, and crocodiles.

June 11th (Travel Day)
Fly to San Jose to catch return flights home.
Payment terms:
Participants who reserved their position with a deposit instead of the full fee will receive an invoice for the balance remaining no later than 90 days prior to the workshop.
Refunds:
90%: June 6th or before
After June 6th we have began paying our contractors and thus cannot guarantee a refund. But we're also decent people and understand that sometimes cancellations need to happen. Every effort will be made to fill your spot and refund as much of your fee as possible. Every refund has a minimum 10% fee to cover processing.
