I'm excited to announce this 3-day workshop on Oregon's wild southern coast. In this small, 10-person photo adventure we'll split time between the classroom and field honing your photographic skills and creative vision through training, shooting, editing and critiques.
Bandon has it all. A small historic coast town with good food and lodging and, most importantly, a dazzling array of interesting sea stacks and rock formations jutting out of the surf right in the heart of the town. It’s a true compositional playground. Two historic lighthouses are within easy range: one right in Bandon at the mouth of the Coquille River and the other just to the south at Cape Blanco. On the north edge of town, the Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge provides ample opportunity to photograph birds and wildlife. As a bonus, we'll have a full moon during this workshop.
Our base of operations and classroom will be the Inn at Face Rock. Price does not include travel, food or lodging. We have many great options for affordable lodging, but as always, the earlier you book the better.
